LONDON (Alliance News) - Science in Sport PLC on Thursday said it has made three new senior management appointments, including a new projects director, new chief scientific officer, and new marketing director.
The nutrition business appointed former Deloitte mergers & acquisitions consultant Richard Wyborn as group strategic projects director. Initially, Wyborn will focus on introducing Science in Sport's recently acquired PhD brand to the US.
The company has also appointed an exercise metabolism & nutrition professor at Liverpool John Moores University, James Morton, to the role of group chief scientific officer.
Finally, Science in Sport has also appointed Richard Whitty as its sport marketing director. Whitty was recently a global marketing manager for beer company Carlsberg AS and also held global marketing roles for a number of Unilvever PLC's portfolio brands.

Our intent is to become the world's leading premium performance nutrition business through investment in science, innovation and brand equity and this calibre of new talent is another step in realising that ambition," said Science in Sport Chief Executive Stephen Moon.
Shares in Science in Sport were down 0.3% at 51.35 pence on Thursday.
