(Alliance News) - Science in Sport PLC said Tuesday it has appointed Neil Tinegate as e-commerce director starting in January.
The sports nutrition firm said Tinegate will be joining the company from Heineken Holding NV, where he is currently director of E-Commerce & Product Europe. He was also a head of digital innovation at Argos and vice president of digital projects at EMI Music.
Science in Sports said that in his new role, Tinegate "will hold international responsibility for the strategic and operational aspects of the PhD.com and SiS.com websites and for online sales on other platforms."
Stephen Moon, chief executive officer, said: "His track record of driving online growth in international markets for brand-led businesses will be of great value to the group as we continue on our trajectory of rapid online sales growth."
Science in Sport shares were up marginally in London at 50.02 pence each on Tuesday.
