(Alliance News) - Schroder UK Public Private Trust PLC said Thursday it will delay the release of its annual results, on the advice of the UK regulators.
The trust - formerly Woodford Patient Capital Trust - also noted it is changing to quarterly net asset value reporting from its current daily reporting.
"This will enable the company to undertake a review of the portfolio at the time of each NAV publication, which will be announced following each quarter end, and will provide a more representative valuation for investors," the trust said.
This has become even more apparent in the recent market volatility, Schroder UK Public Private added.
The trust also noted that Link Fund Solutions will amend the valuations of three of the company's holdings as part of its periodic review of unquoted investments. These reductions are expected to shave 3.97 cent off the trust's NAV per share.
Link is currently undertaking a wider review of the company's portfolio and an update will be provided in the company's annual report, now scheduled for late April.
