Schroder Japan Growth Slightly Outperforms Benchmark Amid Yen Decline

LONDON (Alliance News) - Schroder Japan Growth Fund PLC Monday said its net asset value total return slightly outperformed the index, amidst depreciation of the yen against sterling.

In a statement, the fund said net asset value total return was negative 3.0%, while the TSE First Section Total Return Index fell by 3.2% in sterling terms.

The fund was reporting first-half results for the six months to the end of January.

The fund's shares were Monday quoted at 111.25 pence, down 0.9%.
