(Alliance News) - Schroder Income Growth Fund PLC said it appointed Fraser McIntyre as an independent non-executive director with effect from Tuesday last week.
McIntyre has also been appointed a member of the Audit & Risk, Nomination & Remuneration, and Management Engagement committees.
He has previously served as chief operating officer several "multi-billion dollar" hedge funds where he was responsible for overseeing all operational areas of the business, including finance and accounting, operations, risk, legal and compliance. Most recently, McIntyre was COO of Cantab Capital LLP.
The investment company also announces that Ian Barby retired as a director on Tuesday last week after 14 years of service.
Schroder Income Growth Fund shares were trading 0.9% lower in London on Monday at 309.20 pence each.
