LONDON (Alliance News) - Savannah Resources PLC on Thursday said it has started exploration work on the Somero and Erajarvi lithium projects in Finland.
Ground exploration work has now been authorised, and field work has started. Savannah Resources said the exploration programme is set to take 8 to 10 weeks.
"We're pleased to be on the ground and evaluating these two interesting lithium projects that cover a series of documented, outcropping, lithium-bearing pegmatites in Finland, which is one of the world's premier resources jurisdictions," said Savannah Chief Executive David Archer.
Shares in Savannah Resources were down 8.2% to 4.06 pence Thursday.
