LONDON (Alliance News) - Satellite Solutions Worldwide Group PLC said Monday it has acquired the customers and assets of Polish satellite broadband service providers Hetan Technologies SA and AVC Solutions Sp Zoo.
This brings the company's acquisitions since it listed on AIM in May of this year to six.
It will integrate the customers and assets into its existing operations in Poland under a new subsidiary, Europasat Sp Zoo. Satellite Solutions said it believes the Polish broadband market has "significant growth potential", and following these acquisitions it will be the largest satellite broadband provider in Poland.
It did not provide financial details of the acquisitions.
"This is our sixth acquisition in sixth months in four jurisdictions across Europe since our admission to AIM in May 2015 and takes our subscriber base to approximately 25,000 customers," said Chief Executive Officer Andrew Walwyn in a statement.
Shares in Satellite Solutions were down 1.4% at 4.19 pence Monday morning.
