LONDON (Alliance News) - Ergomed PLC on Tuesday said it has appointed Michael Spiteri, chief digital officer of Santander UK, to its board with immediate effect.
Spiteri joins the pharmaceutical services company as a non-executive director. Prior to his role at Santander, he was a limited liability partnership member at PriceWaterHouseCoopers LLP and Elixirr Partners LLP. He is currently director at Behavioural Innovation Ltd.
Ergomed also said that its chief business officer, Andrew Mackie, will depart from both his role and from the board with immediate effect. The company said this formed part of Ergomed's strategy shift towards services.
"As a leader in the world of digitization, automation and artificial intelligence, Michael's experience and counsel will be invaluable to our board as we optimise the group's operations and drive growth," said Ergomed Chair Peter George.
Shares in Ergomed were flat at 150.00 on Tuesday afternoon.
