Sanderson Set For Profit And Revenue Growth In First Half

26th Apr 2016 08:00

LONDON (Alliance News) - Sanderson Group PLC on Tuesday said its trading in the first half of its financial year was in line with market expectations, with revenue and profit set to grow.

Sanderson, which makes IT systems for logistics and distribution companies, said revenue for the half-year to the end of March will be just shy of GBP10.0 million, compared to GBP9.0 million a year earlier, while operating profit will be just under GBP1.5 million, a slight improvement on GBP1.4 million a year earlier.

Sales intake in the quarter was over GBP6.0 million, Sanderson said, compared to GBP4.9 million the prior year.

The robust performance leaves the group in line to meet market expectations for the full financial year to the end of September, it said.

Sanderson will publish interim results on June 8.

Sanderson shares were up 3.9% to 80.00 pence Tuesday.
