LONDON (Alliance News) - Sanderson Group PLC, which specialises in enterprise software for businesses operating in the retail, manufacturing, wholesale distribution and logistics sectors, on Wednesday said profit in the year to the end of September met its expectations.
Sanderson said revenue for the financial year was slightly ahead of its expectations, up 10% year-on-year to GBP21.0 million. Sales order intake was up to GBP12.0 million from GBP10.0 million a year earlier, with a strong performance in bringing in orders from new customers.
The firm said its Digital Retail division continued to make progress, recovering from a slower first half following a big contract win with an unnamed retailer towards the end of the period.
The Enterprise division, meanwhile, has benefited from investments made in recent years, with solid new order intake for its Manufacturing unit, focused on the food and drink processing sector.
Sanderson said it has seen no evidence of a loss of confidence amongst its customers after the Brexit vote in the UK in June, though it will continue to monitor the situation.
Sanderson will publish its annual results on November 30.
