LONDON (Alliance News) - John Laing Infrastructure Fund on Monday said Sand Grove Capital Management LLP now holds a 5.09% interest in the company following a transaction on Thursday.
Prior to this transaction, Sand Grove's holding, if any, was undisclosed.
Shares in John Laing were 3.5% higher on Monday at 144.86 pence each.
Earlier on Monday, the infrastructure investor said it had accepted Jura Acquisition Ltd's cash takeover offer which values the FTSE 250-listed company at GBP1.45 billion.
The company said that the offer values its shares at 142.5p each. The offer also includes up to 3.57p as a dividend in respect of the first half of the year.
