LONDON (Alliance News) - San Leon Energy PLC on Friday said it will re-acquire GBP23.2 million of its own shares after the closing of a tender offer.
The oil & gas exploration company will repurchase 50.5 million shares being the maximum authorised under the offer and representing 9.97% of the company's capital.
The tender offer was oversubscribed with a total of 81.2 million shares validly tendered, the firm added.
San Leon Energy will cancel the repurchased shares, reducing its capital to 455.6 million from 506.1 million.
San Leon shares were trading down 1.0% at 40.77 pence each.
