LONDON (Alliance News) - Salt Lake Potash Ltd on Tuesday said three exploration licence applications have been granted covering the company's Lake Irwin project, close to its Lake Wells licence in western Australia.
Preliminary surface sampling has indicated excellent potential for a potash project on the Lake Irwin site, Salt Potash said, given its large potassium enriched brine pool with widespread basal sand aquifers.
Salt Lake said the scoping study for Lake Wells will include an analysis on the potential advantages of an integrated production model for the project, including the Lake Irwin area.
Salt Lake shares were up 4.1% to 21.33 pence Tuesday.
