LONDON (Alliance News) - J Sainsbury PLC on Friday said it has switched its audit account to Ernst & Young LLP from PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP.
Ernst & Young will take over the auditing of the supermarket's accounts for the 52 weeks to March 12, 2016, following Sainsbury's annual general meeting in March.
"We would like to thank PwC, and specifically the Sainsbury's audit partners, for their significant contribution as the Company's auditors over many years. Going forward we expect an orderly transition and look forward to working with EY into the future," said Gary Hughes, Chairman of Sainsbury's Audit Committee.
