LONDON (Alliance News) - J Sainsbury PLC said Friday its new Chair Martin Scicluna will be officially appointed to the role on Sunday.
Scicluna will replace current Chair David Tyler on the FTSE 100 supermarket's board when he steps down on Saturday after nine and a half years.
Scicluna was first appointed to Sainsbury's board as non-executive director and chair designate in July, with effect from November 1.
Sainsbury's shares were trading down 0.6% at 226.00 pence each on Friday.
