Sainsbury, Hammerson Chairman Tyler To Step Down From Burberry Board

LONDON (Alliance News) - Burberry Group PLC Thursday said Non-Executive Director David Tyler will step down from his role on the last day of 2015.

Tyler also is the chairman of retail property company Hammerson PLC and of supermarket major J Sainsbury PLC.

Hammerson and Sainsbury both released statements noting Tyler's departure from Burberry. His role at Hammerson and Sainsbury remains unchanged.

Burberry said Tyler is taking up a new appointment with effect from Thursday as non-executive Chairman of Domestic & General Group Ltd, a privately-owned company.

Burberry shares were down 0.5% to 1,336.0 pence per share on Thursday afternoon, whilst Sainsbury shares were down 2.0% to 224.20p. Hammerson shares were trading flat at 613.00p.
