Sage On Track For 2015 Revenue Growth Target; Recent Quarter In Line

22nd Jan 2014 07:41

LONDON (Alliance News) - Sage Group PLC said Wednesday that it was on course to deliver its target of 6% organic revenue growth in 2015, as it saw trading in line with expectations in the first quarter.

In the period from October 1 to date, the business-management software company said it had seen trading in line with expectations across all regions it operates in.

In Europe, the UK and Ireland saw a good performance driven by legislative change, Sage said. In mainland Europe the improved performance Sage saw in the second half of 2013 continued into the first quarter of 2014, despite difficult market conditions in France and Spain.

The Americas saw a strong performance, maintained from 2013, Sage said, as its Sage Enterprise Resource Planning X3 software system continued to gain traction in North America.

In Africa, Australia and the Middle East, the company said it saw a good performance, particularly and South Africa and broader African markets.
