LONDON (Alliance News) - Software company Sage Group PLC on Monday said it appointed Annette Court and Jonathan Bewes to the board as non-executive directors with effect from April 1.
Court has been chair of Admiral Group since 2017 and a board member since 2012. She currently holds the position of senior independent director of Jardine Lloyd Thompson Group PLC.
Between 2007 and 2010 she was CEO of Europe General Insurance for Zurich Financial Services. She was also the former CEO of the Direct Line Insurance Group PLC and has previously served as non-executive director of Foxtons Group PLC.
Bewes spent 25 years in investment banking, with Robert Fleming, UBS and Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Sage said.
Since April 2017, he has been vice chair of Corporate and Institutional Banking at Standard Chartered Bank PLC.
He has also been a member of the board of Next PLC since October 2016.
At the same time, Non-Executive Director Neil Berkett will resign from Sage's board at the beginning of April. He joined the board in 2013.
Sage Group shares were trading 0.7% lower at 680.80 pence each.
