LONDON (Alliance News) - Replacement window and door company Safestyle UK PLC on Monday said it has appointed Peter Richardson as a non-executive director.
Richardson is the former chief executive of London-listed energy supplier Flowgroup PLC, prior to which he held sales and marketing roles at fast-moving consumer goods companies including Cadbury Schweppes, Coca-Cola and Colgate Palmolive. He was also chief operating officer at vacuum cleaner maker Dyson Ltd for almost 15 years.
"I am delighted to welcome Peter on to the board of Safestyle. He brings considerable operational and marketing experience to the role and I am confident he will make a substantial contribution to the ongoing success of the business as we build on our position as the leading operator in the retail replacement window and door market," Chairman Steve Halbert said in a statement.
Shares in Safestyle opened were trading down 3.5% at 230.00 pence at the open on Monday.
