LONDON (Alliance News) - Hostel brand owner and operator Safestay PLC Wednesday said it has appointed Philip Houghton as chief executive with immediate effect.
Houghton, aged 47, was until recently a founding director of Starboard Hotels, a private property and hospitality company which specialises in hotel and hostel development, ownership and operations.
"Safestay is playing a key part in changing the experience and perception of staying in a hostel making it a very interesting time to be joining the company," said Houghton in a statement.
Safestay shares were untraded Wednesday morning. The stock last traded at 74.00 pence.
