LONDON (Alliance News) - Hostel accommodation firm Safestay PLC said Thursday it has appointed Non-Executive Director Paul Cummins as alternate director for Anson Chan.
Safestay said Cummins will represent Chan, who was appointed last December, in meetings of directors which he is unable to attend. As such, the Company stipulated that Cummins will continue in his role until Chan either resigns, revokes the appointment, or ceases to be a director.
Cummins, a chartered accountant, is a co-founder of family investment fund Pyrrho Investments Ltd, and it owns 27.26% of Safestay's issued share capital.
Safestay said Cummins is also a Pacific Jade Corporate Services Ltd director, along with being chief financial officer of Yifung Alternative Energy Company Ltd.
Safestay shares were untraded on Thursday at 42.01 pence each.
