(Alliance News) - S4 Capital PLC on Wednesday said German firm Staud Studios, a creative production studio focused on the automotive industry, is merging with S4's MediaMonks content practice.
London-based digital advertising firm S4 said Staud was founded in 1983 by car photographer Rene Staud and is now run by his sons Patrick and Pascal Staud.
Staud has worked for nearly "every automotive brand in the world", said S4, and provides a full-service marketing solution.
The acquisition of Staud formalises the presence of MediaMonks in Germany, the second largest advertising market in Europe.
The latest tuck-in acquisition comes hot on the heels of S4's announcement on Monday last week that MediaMonks would be merging with Shanghai-based creative agency Tomorrow.
Martin Sorrell, chair of S4, said: "We are delighted to welcome Pascal and his colleagues to MediaMonks and S4 Capital. We look forward to developing a strong content, data & digital media practice in Germany, leveraging Staud's automotive expertise on a global basis and broadening our base in Western Europe."
Shares in S4 were down 1.0% at 524.52 pence in London on Wednesday morning.
