(Alliance News) - Ryanair Holdings PLC on Tuesday confirmed that its UK-based cabin crew have voted in favour of a four-year collective labour agreement, which will cover all of the budget airline's UK crew employees until 2023.
The UK crew, by a majority of 80%, voted in favour of the labour agreement, which will implement a new pay structure with increased guaranteed income and returning to a 5/3 roster.
The 5/3 roster consists of five days of early duty, followed by three days off, and five days of late duty followed by three days off.
The agreement was negotiated between Ryanair and the trade union UNITE.
On Friday, the British Airline Pilots' Association, a trade union representing Ryanair's UK-based pilots, had called-off five strikes scheduled for the rest of the September. Ryanair, in response, welcomed Balpa's decision to call off the strikes and said it had invited Balpa to resume talks with the company.
Shares in Ryanair were up 2.0% at EUR10.25 on Tuesday morning.
