(Alliance News) - Ryanair Holdings PLC on Thursday said it plans to enter the Albanian market as part of its winter 2023 schedule.
The Dublin-based budget airline said that Albania will become the thirty-seventh country in its network.
The new Albani winter schedule will deliver 17 new routes, 200 flights per week, and an estimated 700,000 passengers to and from Tirana.
"These exciting new winter routes are only the beginning of what Ryanair can do to support the Albanian government in delivering transformational growth within the tourism industry," Ryanair said.
Earlier on Thursday, Ryanar said that the US class action lawsuit launched in November 2018 by the City of Birmingham pension fund in Alabama has been settled.
It said it has reached a USD5.0 million settlement of a lawsuit that accused them of defrauding shareholders by downplaying its willingness to recognise labour unions.
Shares in Ryanair Holdings were down 1.1% at EUR16.71 in Dublin on Thursday.
