LONDON (Alliance News) - Ryanair Holdings PLC, Europe's largest low-cost carrier, Wednesday said it will open a second base in Belgium at Brussels Zaventem airport in February, with four aircraft flying 10 new routes.
In a statement, the Irish airline said the routes will be to Alicante, Barcelona, Ibiza, Lisbon, Malaga, Palma, Porto, Rome, Valencia and Venice. There will be 200 flights a week in total.
The airline currently flies from Brussels Charleroi airport in Belgium. Zaventem becomes its 62nd base in total.
Ryanair shares were up 1.1% at EUR6.06 in London Wednesday morning.
