LONDON (Alliance News) - Ryanair Holdings PLC on Tuesday said it will open a second base at Vilnius Airport in Lithuania from October 30.
The low-cost airline will invest USD200 million in two new aircraft at the base.
Ryanair also has added new routes from Lithuania in its winter 2016 schedule, comprising two new routes to Berlin and Malta, and three new services to Birmingham, London Luton and London Stansted.
It said this will deliver 1.5 million customers annually and support over 1,100 on-site jobs.
Shares in Ryanair were trading down 2.0% at EUR13.43 on Tuesday morning.
