LONDON (Alliance News) - Low cost airline Ryanair Holdings PLC said Wednesday that it was launching its new Groups & Corporate Travel Service, and appointed Lesley Kane as head of the unit.
Kane currently serves as head of sales & marketing Europe.
The new service allows customers to access a 'Groups' section of Ryanair with flexible tickets, reserved seating and fast-track through selected airports designed for groups. A new business product will be announced in the next few weeks.
"2014 is set to be a very exciting year for all groups and business passengers as Ryanair's entry into these markets will significantly lower their costs of travel," said Chief Executive Ryan O'Leary.
Shares in Ryanair were trading up 1.5% at EUR6.65 Wednesday afternoon.
