LONDON (Alliance News) - JSC RusHydro PLC said it has signed a guarantee agreement with the European Investment Bank for a RUB4 billion 12-year loan that will be used to finance the construction of the Vostochnaya power generation plant in Vladivostock.
The EIB had approved the loan to the renewable energy generation company back in May.
"The support of our projects by major financial institutions, such as European Investment Bank, is an obvious advantage and an important security for the successful implementation of RusHydro investment plans," management board member Konstantin Bessmertniy said in a statement.
Rushydro shares were down 0.3% to 0.536 pence Wednesday.
