(Alliance News) - RTC Group PLC said Tuesday it has agreed to an extended contract with Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd for one more year to the end of March 2021.
The engineering and technical recruiter first won the contract with the UK railway infrastructure manager Network Rail in March 2015 through RTC subsidiary Ganymede.
RTC was chosen to be a key strategic partner for Network Rail's control period five programme of work.
This extension covers the first two years of CP6, a five-year GBP35 billion spending and investment programme in the railway network announced by the UK government in October last year.
"This extension is a result of the excellent service that Ganymede delivers to Network Rail. I would like to extend my thanks and congratulations to the whole team at Ganymede for all their hard work and commitment," said Chief Executive Officer Andy Pendlebury.
Shares in RTC Group - which is headquartered in Derby - were untraded on Tuesday, last quoted at 52.50 pence in London.
