(Alliance News) - Rotork PLC on Thursday said it had appointed Janice Stipp as a non-executive director effective December 1.
Bath-based global flow control and instrumentation group said Stipp currently serves as a non-executive director of Sappi Ltd, a South African pulp and paper company, Commercial Vehicle Group Inc, a US supplier of truck cab systems, and ArcBest Corporation, a US logisitics company for supply chains.
Before this, she was senior vice president and chief financial officer of Rogers Corporation, a US specialty engineered materials technology company and executive vice president and chief financial officer of Tecumseh Products Co. LLC, a US manufacturer of compressors for air conditioning and refrigeration products.
Chair Martin Lamb said Stipp's "international financial credentials, combined with her depth and breadth of experience in manufacturing and engineering companies, will further strengthen the diverse mix of skills and experience on the board."
Shares in Rotork were down 1.8% at 307.20 pence in London on Thursday.
