Rotala Lifts Dividend On Annual Profit And Revenue Rise

LONDON (Alliance News) - Rotala PLC on Tuesday reported an 32% increase in profitability in its latest financial results driven by a surge in revenue.

For the year ended November 30, 2018, the transport solutions provider posted pretax profit of GBP3.7 million, up from GBP2.8 million a year ago.

Revenue rose 19% year-on-year to GBP62.4 million from GBP52.6 million, while administrative costs were up to GBP7.3 million from GBP6.7 million.

Rotala proposed a total dividend of 2.70 pence per share, up from 2.50p paid to shareholders a year ago.

Looking ahead, the company said the current year has begun in line with expectations as it stressed it is "well positioned" for future growth.

"We are confident therefore about the prospects of the group and excited about the possibility of expanding it considerably in the years ahead," Chair John Gunn added.

Rotala shares were trading up 2.9% at 53.00 pence each.
