LONDON (Alliance News) - Rockpool Acquisitions PLC on Wednesday said its investee Greenview Gas Ltd is likely to secure at least one offer of debt finance in the next two months.
Greenview, a Irish energy company, intends to make two acquisitions of its own before it is acquired by Rockpool, and will fund these acquisitions through a loan facility.
Rockpool, a special purpose acquisition company, has already invested GBPP793,000 in Greenview to facilitate these acquisitions. Rockpool was created to make an acquisition in Northern Ireland and its loan agreement with Greenview granted Rockpool the option to acquire Greenview's entire share capital through a stock deal.
At its annual general meeting on Wednesday morning, Rockpool secured shareholder approval for Greenview acquisition.
Shares in Rockpool are suspended as the Greenview acquisition is considered a reverse takeover.
