LONDON (Alliance News) - Rockhopper Exploration PLC and Falkland Oil & Gas PLC on Tuesday said the Eirik Raude drilling unit has arrived on site at the North Falkland Basin site.
The pair said the rig will soon move location to start drilling on the first well in the basin, the Zebedee prospect.
Falkland has a 40% stake in the Zebedee licence, while Rockhopper has a 24% stake.
Shares in Rockhopper were up 2.8% to 65.81 pence on Tuesday, while Falkland shares were up 3.4% to 32.30 pence.
