LONDON (Alliance News) - Asset management business River & Mercantile Group PLC said Tuesday it has now established a New York City office and hired two former Mercer LLC wealth business leaders.
David Rosenblum was most recently the wealth business leader for the New York Metro area while Tom Cassara was east market wealth business leader.
Both Rosenblum and Cassara will join River & Mercantile as managing directors and members of the company's US solutions leadership team.
River & Mercantile said the hirings and the new office enhanced the company's actuarial and investment solutions position in the US marketplace.
"Their significant expertise and profile, combined with our increased presence in the New York area will help to accelerate our growth in these areas," said River & Mercantile Head of Global Solutions Jack Berry.
Shares in River & Mercantile were down 0.7% at 290.00 pence on Tuesday afternoon.
