(Alliance News) - Rightmove PLC said Friday it has appointed Andrew Fisher as non-executive chair with effect from January 1, in line with its succession plan.
The property portal said Fisher will succeed Scott Forbes, who retires on December 31 after more than 14 year as chair of the company.
Fisher is currently a non-executive director of both Marks & Spencer Group PLC and Moneysupermarket.com Group PLC. He previously was chief executive officer and executive chair of Shazam Entertainment Ltd and non-executive director at Merlin Entertainments PLC, Rightmove said.
Rightmove CEO Peter Brooks-Johnson said:"I'm delighted to welcome Andrew to Rightmove and look forward to working with him as we continue to innovate to make home moving easier."
Rightmove shares were up 0.5% in London at 621.60 pence each on Friday.
