LONDON (Alliance News) - FTSE 250-listed drinks can maker Rexam PLC on Wednesday said Finance Director David Robbie has been granted a leave of absence to undergo medical treatment and chemotherapy having recently been diagnosed with a serious illness.
Kath Kearney-Croft, the director of group planning and finance, will take on Robbie's ahead of the publication of its half-year results on July 30 and Rexam said it will continue to assess the need to appoint an interim finance director.
Shares in Rexam were down 1.2% to 559.5 pence on Wednesday.
