LONDON (Alliance News) - Rex Bionics PLC Wednesday said it plans to launch its hand-free self-supporting robotic walking device into the UK market at the Neurological Rehabilitation Expo 2014 held at London's ExCel centre on Thursday and Friday.
Rex's robotic exoskeleton device, designed for wheelchair users, aims to enable standing and walking without the need for crutches or wheelchairs.
"Rex is now gaining a vast amount of publicity driven by demand and interest in the important technology," Chief Executive Jeremy Curnock Cook said in a statement. "This will be a great opportunity for us to demonstrate the benefits of Rex first-hand to international experts in the field, and to introduce the members of our new UK sales force."
Rex shares were untraded Wednesday morning. The were last quoted last week at 178.00 pence.
