LONDON (Alliance News) - Polymer technology company Revolymer PLC on Tuesday said it has signed a licensing deal with US-based chemicals company OCI Chemical Corp's OCI Alabama unit.
Under the terms of the agreement, OCI Alabama will get the rights to use Revolymer's encapsulation technology to its sodium percarbonate-based bleaching active ingredients, which it sells under the Provox brand.
No financial details were disclosed.
"We are excited to have closed another significant global deal applying our proprietary technology to OCI's sodium percarbonate-based products. This transaction further confirms the utility of Revolymer's encapsulation technology in stabilising bleaching actives," said Kevin Matthews, Revolymer's chief executive.
Shares in Revolymer were up 1.6% to 64.00 pence on Tuesday morning.
