LONDON (Alliance News) - The Restaurant Group PLC on Thursday appointed Workspace Group PLC Chief Financial Officer Graham Clemett as a non-executive director and chairman of the audit committee.
Clemett will join the board on June 1, Restaurant Group said.
The owner of the Chiquito, Frankie & Benny's and Garfunkel's restaurant chains said Clemett has served as chief financial officer of Workspace, a FTSE-250 listed property company, since 2007.
Clemett previously held "senior finance roles" in Royal Bank of Scotland and Reuters Holdings PLC, Restaurant Group said.
"I am pleased to welcome Graham to the company. As well as his strong technical credentials and his broad strategic insight, he brings a wealth of experience as a listed company director," said Restaurant Group Chairman Debbie Hewitt.
Shares in Restaurant Group were up 2.9% at 327.20 pence on Thursday morning.
