LONDON (Alliance News) - Shares jumped in Mobile Streams PLC on Monday following the signing of a partnership with Indian mobile network operator Reliance Jio Infocomm Ltd.

Under the partnership, Mobile Streams will provide games developed using HTML5 software for Reliance Jio's feature phone product JioPhone1 and its recently launched smartphone games store.

"We are delighted to be partnering with the world's fastest growing telecom company, Reliance Jio. We are very impressed with the impact they have had on the Indian mobile economy and the range of products they have launched in the market. We are looking forward to working closely with Reliance Jio in 2019 and beyond," said Chief Executive Officer Simon Buckingham.

At the end of November 2018, Mobile Streams inked a direct billing agreement with Indian state owned telecommunications company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd.
