LONDON (Alliance News) - Domino's Pizza Group PLC said Friday that David Wild, a senior non-executive director, will be appointed interim chief executive with immediate effect.
Wild will serve in the role for a temporary period of two months after a new chief executive is appointed and will work with current CEO Lance Batchelor until Batchelor leaves March 16. Stephen Hemsley, non-executive chairman, also will work with Wild until a permanent chief executive is appointed.
The company said that Michael Swallow will be reappointed as senior independent director with immediate effect. Wild will temporarily relinquish his role as chairman of the Remuneration Committee and John Hodson will re-assume the role of chair of the Remuneration Committee until further notice.
Domino's also appointed Ebbe Jacobsen as non-executive director with immediate effect. Jacobsen has previously held positions as chief executive officer of Ikea in Germany and chief executive officer of Habitat.
