LONDON (Alliance News) - Pest control group Rentokil Initial PLC on Tuesday said it has agreed to acquire Allgood Services of Georgia Inc, which trades as Allgood Pest Solutions, for an undisclosed fee.
Allgood is a pest control company headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia in the US and made USD26.0 million in revenue in the 12 months prior to the acquisition, Rentokil said.
Rentokil said it acquired a total of 41 companies over the course of 2016, including 17 in North America, where it is seeking to expand its pest control operations substantially.
"Allgood is an outstanding business with an excellent reputation for customer service and high levels of customer retention. The acquisition is designed to build scale and customer density in the states of Georgia and Tennessee where the warmer climate means a higher pest intensity," said Rentokil Chief Executive Andy Ransom.
Rentokil will publish its 2016 annual results on February 23.
