LONDON (Alliance News) - Renewi PLC on Monday said Chief Executive Officer Peter Dilnot intends to resign from the waste management company to take up the role of chief operating officer at turnaround specialist Melrose Industries PLC.
The company added that Managing Director of Netherlands Commercial division Otto de Bont will succeed Dilnot as CEO in April next year.

Renewi said Otto de Bont has previously spent six years at aircraft manufacturing company United Technologies Corp, where his roles included president of fire & security field in Continental Europe.
"We are grateful for Peter's strong and effective leadership over nearly seven years, particularly with the creation of Renewi last year, and we will miss him," said Chairman Colin Matthews.
"Otto was recruited two years ago as part of our succession planning. The board is delighted with his contribution since joining, and pleased to confirm his promotion to CEO from April 2019," added Matthews.
Renewi shares were trading 0.7% lower on Monday at 50.43 pence each.
