Renewables Infrastructure Group Planning Equity Issue (ALLISS)

LONDON (Alliance News) - The Renewables Infrastructure Group Ltd on Friday said it is considering issuing more equity amid progress being made by its investment manager, InfraRed Capital Partners Ltd, on identifying new acquisition opportunities.

The group said the proposed fundraising would take place in June or July and would be made under the share issuance programme it launched in December 2014. No details on the planned size of the fundraising were provided.

Renewables Infrastructure said InfraRed has identified a number of acquisition opportunities in the onshore wind farm and solar park sectors.

Shares in the company were down 0.3% to 108.412 pence on Friday morning.
