LONDON (Alliance News) - Renewable Energy Generation Ltd Wednesday said Peterborough City Council is set to give it planning permission to extend its French Farm wind farm project.
Formal permission is expected to come "shortly", though it's subject to the expiry of the six week legal challenge period, according to a company statement.
Renewable Energy Generation expects construction to begin "later this year".
"The further 8MW of capacity at French Farm will provide an excellent addition to REG's portfolio," Andrew Whalley, chief executive, said in a statement.
Renewable Energy Generation shares were Wednesday quoted flat at 73.5 pence.
