LONDON (Alliance News) - Renewable Energy Generation Ltd said Thursday that it had been granted planning permission for its single wind turbine Barlborough project in Derbyshire.
The renewable energy company can now construct a turbine measuring up to 86.5 meters, which can generate around 2 gigawatt hours per year.
The company has 13 more projects awaiting planning permission.
"We look forward both to progressing to construction and establishing a Community Fund to support local good causes," said Chief Executive Officer Andrew Whalley in a statement.
Shares in Renewable Energy were trading down 3.0% at 72.06 pence Thursday afternoon.
