LONDON (Alliance News) - Renewable Energy Generation Ltd on Tuesday said it has signed an engineering, procurement and construction contract for a new 2.6 megawatt peak solar project in Cornwall.
The company has signed the deal with Juwi Renewable Energies Ltd which, under the terms of the agreement, will take responsibility for the supply, installation and commissioning of equipment at the ground-mounted solar photovoltaic Mendennick project in Cornwall. In addition, Juwi has been given a five-year contract to provide long-term operations and maintenance services.
Construction has started on the project, which is due to be completed by the end of this year.
Shares in Renewable Energy Generation were down 1.0% to 52.00 pence on Tuesday.
