ReNeuron Seeking New Chief Executive, Current To Become Financial Officer

23rd Apr 2014 11:37

LONDON (Alliance News) - ReNeuron Group PLC said Wednesday that it was appointing a new Chief Executive Officer to replace Michael Hunt, who will be moving into the role of Chief Financial Officer when a successor has been recruited.

The company said that, as a result of the progress it has made recently, it will expand its executive leadership. It is looking to appoint a CEO with experience in the industry and the clinical development required to take it through to full commercialisation.

Whilst the company seeks its new Chief Executive, Simon Cartmell an independent non-executive Director, will provide support for the business.

"With ReNeuron having made its transition to a well-funded, clinical-stage cell therapy business, it is time to reconfigure the leadership team to meet the challenges of the next phase of development," Hunt said in a statement.

Shares in ReNeuron were trading up 40.3% at 3.10 pence Wednesday morning.
