(Alliance News) - Renalytix AI PLC said Monday it has appointed Chirag Parikh to its board with immediate effect.
At the end of September, the clinical diagnostics firm said it would appoint an additional non-executive director and "healthcare industry veteran" within the coming weeks, although it did not confirm Parikh as the director to be appointed.
Parikh is currently the director of the division of Nephrology at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in Maryland, US.
"We are honoured to have one of the leading voices in kidney disease clinical practice and research join our board. Chirag will help ensure we maintain the highest standards of data driven development for the KidneyIntelX programme," said Chief Executive Officer James McCullough.
Shares in Renalytix AI were down 0.4% at 250.00 pence on Monday in London.
