6th Jan 2016 07:58

LONDON (Alliance News) - Regional commercial property investor Regional REIT PLC on Wednesday said it has completed the acquisition of the Rosalind House property in Basingstoke for GBP3.0 million.

The building provides an annual rental income of GBP396,000, equating to a net initial yield on the acquisition of 12.5%.

Elsewhere, Regional REIT said it has signed a lease agreement with Barclays PLC, the bank, for the Tay House office building in Glasgow and has secured a five-year extension to its lease agreement with wealth manager St James's Place PLC at Chancellor Court in Leeds.

It has also secured an agreement to let the ground and second floors of Building A at St James Court in Bristol to South West Ambulance Service Trust and has agreed a deal with the BBC to surrender the lease on St James Court in Bath.

It also signed a new ten-year lease with E.ON, the energy provider, for Sherwood Park in Nottingham.
